BRUNHILDE is proud to announce the new album ‘27′, which is finally coming out this Friday (May 27th). And ahead of its release, the band has released a single from the album called ‘Girl with 1000 Scars'.

For fans of manic, hard-hitting punk rock, BRUNHILDE is the can't miss the act of the moment. BRUNHILDE adopt a uniquely aggressive and driving guitar sound in their music, which is something that is somewhat unusual to hear in today’s pop-punk scene. The band’s vocals are also particularly vicious, which is definitely a characteristic that isn’t as common of quality in the genre as some might think.

The track ‘Girl with 1000 Scars’ represents the band at their most raw and uncensored, offering an insight into the mindset of BRUNHILDE in the making of this new album. In return, the listener is treated to a short but catchy song, charging as fast and as loud as it does. The accompanying music video for the single is a visual representation of BRUNHKILDE’s mind state when writing ‘27′.

“We’ve been getting a lot of positive feedback from fans and media alike about Girl With 1000 Scars so far,” reveals singer Caro. “And to be honest, Girl is also one of my absolute favorite songs on the new album.“

">"It all started with this song. 'Girl' was the first finished song on the new album. The story of this young woman was the first topic I came across during my research for our concept album – the initial spark! I was also fascinated by the girl’s tattoo - ‘Don’t be afraid to ask for help’! In addition, Girl has everything a good song has to have: a nice middle section, a chorus – and it really packs a punch!" (Caro - BRUNHILDE singer)

In the end, fans of early BRUNHILDE will love '27' as much as they loved their original output. Modern BRUNHILDE fans might find it a bit more challenging to get into and be turned off by its more minutely produced sound. In the end, both camps should be able to appreciate their towering energy and bravura performances.
