After two well-received albums, DENIGRATE’s third album "Blackguard" was released today, April 22nd 2022 via Inverse Records.
"Blackguard" continues what was started on past albums: some beautiful and haunting melodies, but this time with a lot more focus on twisted and new themes. Reviews speak of pure darkness and pain conveyed in the majestic soundscapes.
Combining the elements of both frustration and beauty, the music takes the listener on a wonderfully dark and emotional journey through the pit of sorrow, regret, and nostalgia. Carrying the listeners away to another place where they can grasp the burden of their existence while they simultaneously witness their time here being wasted away by apathy and ignorance.
