Southern California's metal titans, LEATHERWOLF, have released their brand-new video and single, 'Thunder (MMXXII)'. This dynamic release is part of the promotional activities for their soon-to-be-released vinyl edition of 'Kill The Hunted'.
'Thunder (MMXXII)', a powerful rendition of their 1989 'Street Ready' classic, is now accessible across all leading digital platforms. Fans can also check it out on the group's Bandcamp page. The digital release happened on July 25, with the vinyl version set to hit the stands on August 18.
According to drummer and founding member, Dean Roberts, 'Thunder' has always resonated well with their fans and has become a regular feature of their live performances. As the band was working on the 'Kill The Hunted' album, the idea of re-recording some old tracks came up, 'Thunder' being one of them. Roberts expressed his excitement about the remake, applauding Keith Adamiak's vocals, Rob Math's performance, and Joel Hoekstra's guest solo. He believes the updated 'Thunder (MMXXII)' will appeal to a broader audience, thanks to its vinyl and digital availability.
In addition to the release, LEATHERWOLF has also prepared a video for 'Thunder (MMXXII)', filmed at a West Los Angeles facility. Award-winning Spanish director Eric Boadella, renowned for his work with L.A.Guns, Black Swan, and Revolution Saints, was at the helm of this project.
To celebrate this, LEATHERWOLF will headline a show at the iconic Whisky A Go-Go in West Hollywood CA, on August 23, marking another milestone in their successful journey in the world of metal.
