Canadian demolition thrash crew MUTANK are set to unleash their first full-length album in seven years, Think Before You Think, due out November 29, 2024, on Boonsdale Records. Following their 2017 EP W.H.A.T.S.T.H.A.T., the band returns with a fresh collection of neck-breaking tunes.
Today, MUTANK premiered the album’s opener and music video for the psychedelic powerhouse "Illuminatus" via Brave Words. The band describes the track as setting the tone for the album with strong riffs, elaborate songwriting, and ripping solos that continue their signature style. Lyrically inspired by the 1975 novel Illuminatus, the song explores themes of power and how it consumes the souls of those who crave it most.
