OSKOREIEN premiere new track "Prismatic Reason" ahead of third album Hollow Fangs
Los Angeles-based black metal project OSKOREIEN has emerged with their long-awaited third full-length album, Hollow Fangs, set for release on July 18, 2025. After years as a solo endeavor led by guitarist, vocalist, and programmer Jay Valena, OSKOREIEN expands its sonic arsenal with the addition of guitarist Rashid Nadjib, resulting in a sound that is both unsettling and hypnotic.
Hollow Fangs features dissonant riffing intertwined with moments of bleak beauty, solidifying OSKOREIEN’s place within thought-provoking black metal that pushes boundaries and challenges listeners.
The band has shared an exclusive premiere of the album’s opening track, "Prismatic Reason," on No Clean Singing as well as on YouTube. Jay Valena comments on the song:
"'Prismatic Reason' is a meditation on the double-edged sword of human consciousness. How reason can illuminate or distort; create or destroy. The song evokes the anguish of searching for meaning amidst chaos and betrayal, set to an urgent and cathartic musical attack."
