The latest offering from Greek symphonic death metal lords SEPTICFLESH is an animated lyric video for the new single "A Desert Throne". The song comes off their upcoming album "Modern Primitive" which is scheduled for release on May 20th 2022 via Nuclear Blast.
The lyric video for “A Desert Throne” is set in a barren, wasteland of a planet, reflecting the lyrics of SEPTICFLESH’s "A Desert Throne" track: Black, endless desert, where no sound reaches. "I am king here, though there is nothing left to rule..." The video story opens a portal to a world of desolation, destruction, and despair, where the end of all things is just around the corner.
The band commented:
This is a more epic song with dominant dramatic melodies. Will mankind be leaving behind a barren Earth as its legacy? A desert planet like Mars? For the visualization of the song, a small animation sequence was created by Cloud Factory and was “dressed” appropriately with the lyrics of the song. Enjoy!
