Swedish death metal legends THE CROWN have released the music video for their new single 'Gone To Hell', taken from their highly anticipated twelfth studio album 'Crown Of Thorns', set for release on October 11th through Metal Blade Records. The track stands out as a unique mid-tempo song with some post-punk elements, marking a departure from the band’s usual style.
Guitarist Marko Tervonen shared that 'Gone To Hell' is the first song co-written with former bassist Magnus Olsfelt, who contributed the basic riffs before Tervonen developed the melodies, arrangements, drums, and vocals. Tervonen expressed pride in the song and anticipated some mixed reactions due to its softer approach compared to the band’s traditional sound. The official video, created by Anton Hallenberg and Robin Schulz, is now available for fans to watch, offering a fresh perspective on THE CROWN’s evolving musical journey.
