Swedish symphonic metal band TUNGSTEN have unveiled their latest single and music video, 'Lullaby', from their upcoming album 'The Grand Inferno', due October 18, 2024 via Reigning Phoenix Music. The track opens with eerie children's voices from another realm before evolving into a powerful, industrial-driven anthem filled with themes of vengeance and regret. The haunting narrative tells the story of a mother who sacrifices her child to unknown beings, only for the child to return from the grave to exact revenge, forever singing the lullaby once sung to them.
The music video, directed by TUNGSTEN’s guitarist Niklas 'Nick' Johansson, was filmed in a strange and spooky warehouse filled with moss and overgrown plants, adding an atmospheric edge to the visual storytelling. The band described the shoot as both fun and unsettling, perfectly matching the dark tone of the song. Fans can look forward to this compelling new chapter from TUNGSTEN as they prepare for their Scandinavian tour with labelmates Sonata Arctica.
