BEHEMOTH announce new album and share new single 'Ov My Herculean Exile'

Polish extreme metallers BEHEMOTH have announced their long-awaited 12th studio album, 'Opvs Contra Natvram', set to be launched on September 16th, 2022, Like all things BEHEMOTH, 'Opvs Contra Natvram' is extremely heavy, brutal, challenging and dynamic. The apocalyptic soundscapes that fans have come to expect are prominent for sure, but the band also pushes themselves firmly outside of their comfort zone.
As the title suggests (a musical term meaning 'against nature'), the album draws inspiration from blasphemous literature and reflects on humanity's tendency for self-destruction.
'Ov My Herculean Exile', the first single shared from BEHEMOTH’s 12th studio album, 'Opvs Contra Natvram', is as bleak as its title suggests and stands out in BEHEMOTH’s catalog as one of the darkest tracks BEHEMOTH have ever penned.
Stepping out from the mysterious forest of the Carpathians, Polish extreme metallers BEHEMOTH grew past their black metal roots and adopted a pyrotechnic, flesh-and-blood-and-bone presence that makes them more than just your regular metal band. The unholy concoction of sound that is invented by Nergal and his Blackened death metal mob is unmatched, to say the least. The band has always been at the forefront with their daring, enveloping, and brutally destructive music. With that being said, expectations from every new song or album can only go upward.
